This speckled spout bowl has a matte finish on the outside and a glossy finish on the inside and holds 8 oz of liquid. The body is made by hand on a potter’s wheel and the glaze is applied by dipping which makes finish variations within the piece; it appears more opaque and white where the glaze is thick. After firing manganese in the clay body appears as lovely freckles like quail eggs.
