This installation, consisting of around 30 mobiles from my projects since 2021, combines fresh greens, crisp yellows, and juicy oranges into an appetizing mix to refresh the senses. The color elements bounce and turn while balanced by wires, responding to the changing air currents created by the movement of people through the space.
Moshi-Moshi Karuta creates an environment through a series of objects generated by wordplay. Inspired by the card game of iroha karuta, where proverbs represent each Japanese syllable organized into a poem, Moshi-Moshi Karuta employs objects whose titles are linked by their sound.
Perception Play transforms eyewear components into kinetic sculptures, reflecting our fleeting thoughts and shifting emotions which shape the way we see the world.
